The Coniston Christmas Lights Committee (the "CCLC") is a sub-committee of the Coniston Parish Council.

The Purpose of the CCLC is to three-fold:

to help coordinate the fundraising and logistics for Christmas lights and Christmas tree(s) within the village to help the community enjoy the festive spirit over Christmas and New Year;
to help coordinate a Festive Fayre (e.g. an Artisan and Craft Fayre in November) as part of the prelude to Christmas (with the aim to coordinate this with the Christmas Light Switch-On); and
to help coordinate with local businesses (and the Business Forum) and local organisations to promote activities and the many reasons to visit and enjoy a Festive Christmas in Coniston.
